The course is suitable for both novice users and those with some experience of ultrasound guided nerve blocks and is recommended to all grades of Anaesthetists as well  as Accident & Emergency Doctors and FY doctors

There will be course lecutres covering 'Theory of Ultrasound and essential Sono Anatomy followed by a scanning workshop on live models. The workshops will consist of small groups and this will allow the candidates plenty of hands on scanning experience.

Candidates can improve their needling techniques using realistic needling phantoms

At the end of the course, candidates should be confident in scanning and locating the various nerves as well as needling handling

The course faculty consist of expereinced anaesthetists who are experts in the field of Regional Anaesthesia.
